O:CHi Seitan Schnitzel Natural - vacuum packed. Meatless version of natural schnitzel - can be used and prepared in a similar way. Also ideal for filled seitan roulades.

O:CHi Seitan is a product made from whole wheat flour. Organically grown wheat is ground into flour and kneaded into a dough. After a certain resting time, this ball of dough is washed out . The starch is washed out with water and only the solid gluten - the protein of the wheat - remains. The gluten is cut into pieces and cooked in a mildly spicy marinade.
The finished product is called wheat gluten, gluten or seitan .

Seitan brings variety, spicy taste and creativity to vegetarian cuisine.
