O:CHi-Seitan Special – thanks to its soft consistency, it is ideal for making “schnitzel”, baked or plain, stuffed roulades and as an ingredient in a hearty vegetarian “burger”.

Seitan is a product made from certified organic whole wheat flour, cooked in a broth made from Kombu Shoju soy sauce and water. The gluten is cut into pieces and cooked in a mildly spicy marinade. Seitan is a very nutritious fresh product and has many uses. The finished product is called wheat gluten, gluten or seitan. Dense consistency, tastes delicious as goulash, in stews, on skewers, as rice meat or grilled, minced as an ingredient in vegetarian hamburgers. Its soft consistency makes it perfect for making schnitzel, baked or plain.
